Lose Hill Lodge is a dog friendly, four-bedroom self-catering holiday cottage with a private hot tub in beautiful Hope, Derbyshire. There’s plenty of space in this generous holiday home, with accommodation for up to eight guests – perfect for larger families and groups of friends.
Nestled in a quiet village in the heart of the Peak District National Park, with fabulous scenery, stunning walks and amenities (including pubs) on the doorstep. Bring your walking boots and explore the Blue John Mines and caves at nearby Castleton (3 miles) or take a hike up the famous Mam Tor. The spa town of Buxton, the market town of Bakewell, and the stunning Chatsworth House and Gardens are all within 10 miles.

It’s Saturday afternoon. You’ve just returned to the lodge from a morning walk along stunning Lose Hill, followed by a delicious pub lunch at local village favourite The Cheshire Cheese Inn (only a five-minute walk from the lodge!). You’re now kicking back in the garden, soaking up the late afternoon sun and planning tomorrow’s adventure to Peveril Castle,before taking a dip in the spacious hot tub. Glass in hand with nothing but peace and birdsong around you. Simply perfect!
Family-managed Lose Hill Lodge is located in the lovely village of Hope within easy walking distance of a handful of excellent local pubs, cafés and shops. Conveniently reached from Sheffield, Manchester and further afield by car or public transport to Hope Train Station, a short 15-minute walk through the village.

"Had a lovely weekend with friends at Losehill Lodge. Didn’t use the car all weekend, took the dogs and went for a walk into the hills that started at the end of the road. House was great, with well equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches like towels for the dogs and hot tub. The hot tub was brilliant and much needed after long walks in the beautiful Peak District. “We booked another stay here at Lose Hill Lodge, and along with our whippet we decided to share this particular trip with family. The space is just great for groups and socialising, we enjoyed the garden giant games and the hot tub. We were so lucky with the weather too, absolutely gorgeous setting, sitting in the garden most mornings and evenings, listening to the birds sing. Everyone had such a great time, everyone slept really well and loved staying here as much as we do! Again 5 stars, we look forward to our next stay here… and very much whippet approved.
