The Cheshire Cheese Inn, Hope – The quintessential country pub! Less than a 5-minute walk from Lose Hill Lodge. Real ale, home-cooked food, open fires. We love their Sunday lunches!
The Old Hall, Hope – Traditional pub in the heart of the Hope village, serving food all day in cosy surroundings.
The Curry Cabin, Hope – Authentic Kashmiri cuisine to eat in or take away less than a 5-minute walk from Lose Hill Lodge.
The Bankhouse, Hathersage – Especially fabulous for cocktails.

Hope Chest Deli – Perfectly located a stone’s throw from the property for takeaway breakfast, lunches and options for afternoon tea and sharing platter delivery.
Hathersage Social Club – Great for a spot of lunch.
Chatsworth Farm Shop & Café – stock up on local treats and grab a coffee while you’re there!
Devonshire Arms, Beeley – Located in a cosy corner of the Chatsworth Estate, AA Rosette five-star rating, and recognition in the Michelin Guide.
The Fox House, Longshaw – Ideal for lunch, a pint and a walk around Longshaw Estate.

The Maynard Hotel, Grindleford & The George, Hathersage – Local restaurant group offering contemporary dining in a sophisticated setting.
The Barrell Inn, Abney – A wonderful spot for a drink, fabulous views, and watching some hang gliders!
The Bulls Head, Foolow – Welcoming country pub in a quaint village location, only a 15-minute drive from Lose Hill Lodge.
The Blind Bull, Little Hucklow – Located in Britain’s fifth oldest public house. A beautiful and relaxed environment to sample local beers and independent wines whilst tasting food that has been locally grown, seasonally picked and cooked with care.
Castleton – Has several pubs, restaurants, tea rooms, cafes, and fish & chip shops, all good for a visit in the daytime or an evening out.
