- Where is Lose Hill Lodge located?

We’re in the village of Hope, right in the heart of the Peak District. See our directions travelling by car or train.
- Do you accept groups?

Yes. Lose Hill Lodge suits all generations, ideal for couples, small groups and single/multiple families. The lodge comfortably accommodates up to eight people in four bedrooms – two king-sized bedrooms with private ensuites and two twin rooms plus a main bathroom.
- What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 4 pm, and check-out is by 10 am. This gives our housekeeping team plenty of time to make sure everything is spotless and ready for the next guests.
Lose Hill Lodge operates self check in and out with a secure key lock box located at the property. Full instructions and your unique access code will be sent to you before arrival.

We’ll do our best to accommodate early arrivals or later departures if possible — just ask before your stay and we’ll let you know what’s available. Please contact us if you have any special requirements for your stay.
- Can I bring my dog/s?

Absolutely! Lose Hill Lodge is fully dog-friendly. We provide a dog bath and towels. We also have an enclosed fenced garden.
We just ask that dogs are kept off the furniture and beds, and that muddy paws are wiped before coming indoors.
After every visit, we ensure the entire property, inside and out, is thoroughly cleaned and ready for our next guests.
The local area is very dog friendly, including pubs and cafes.
- Is the garden enclosed?

Yes, the garden is gated, fenced and fully enclosed.
- Do you have parking?

Yes, we have private off-road parking directly outside the property for 4 /5 cars.
- Is the hot tub an additional charge?

No. You have unlimited and exclusive use of the six-person large outdoor hot tub throughout your stay. The hot tub is HSE compliant and made by Jacuzzi.
It’s professionally cleaned, tested and refilled between each booking to ensure it’s perfectly fresh and safe.
For safety, please shower before using it, avoid glass near the tub, and follow the guidance in the guest handbook.
- Is the property accessible for guests with limited mobility?

Yes. The property is a bungalow with all bedrooms, bathrooms and social spaces on the ground floor. We also have private off-street parking for 4/5 cars directly outside the property. Please note there is a small step from the kitchen diner into the living room seating area.
- Is there a pub, café or shops nearby?

Yes, there’s a Co-op in Hope village, plus larger supermarkets in Hathersage and Castleton. Many offer click-and-collect or delivery options.
There are several excellent cafes and pub restaurants in the village less than four minutes walk away. A few of our favourites are listed here.
- Is WiFi available?
